EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's tennis team dominated Wagner on Saturday afternoon en route to a 7-0 victory. Four Leopards won their respective singles matches without along the Seahawks to tally a point.
Allie Seranko (No. 1 singles), Lucy Bass (No. 3), Liza Blank (No. 4) and Austin Denesuk (No. 5) all won their matches by a 6-0, 6-0 count. Emily DeLuca was nearly unblemished with a 6-0, 6-1 triumph at No. 2 singles and Katherine Charchalis won by default at No. 6 singles.
In doubles action, Seranko and Caitlin Gordon claimed an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles. Denesuk and Charchalis won 8-0 at No. 2, and the No. 3 doubles team of Bass and Blank won by default.
The Leopards are back in action tomorrow, traveling to Bucknell to meet the Bison at 2 p.m.
