UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Lafayette men's tennis team kicked off its spring season with a 6-1 loss to Binghamton on Sunday afternoon at Penn State University. Andrew Morris recorded the Leopards' lone win of the day.
With the loss, Lafayette falls to 0-1 in the spring and 2-1 in dual matches overall.
Morris, playing at No. 6 singles, downed the Bearcats' Alper Alimoglu in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6 (4). Lafayette dropped the other five singles matches in two sets and was swept in doubles.
The Leopards return to the court on Friday, Feb. 24 for a 7 p.m. match with Muhlenberg.
