NEWARK, Del. - The Lafayette men's tennis team returned to the court on Thursday after an 18-day layoff, falling to host Delaware, 7-0. Brandon Goldstein and Andrew Morris were victorious at No. 2 doubles for the Leopards.
With the loss, Lafayette falls to 4-5 in dual matches this year. Delaware evens its mark to 4-4.
Goldstein and Morris pulled out a 9-7 triumph in doubles for Lafayette's victory. Scott Gelbman turned in the strongest singles performance at the No. 5 spot, taking the first set, 6-4, before falling in three sets.
The Leopards are back in action on Saturday, hosting Wagner at 2 p.m.
