EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's tennis team took four singles matches in straight sets and swept doubles play en route to a 6-1 victory over visiting Rider on Wednesday at Sullivan Courts. With the win, the Leopards improve to 4-5 in dual matches this season.

Caitlin Gordon, Amanda Kusnierz, Liza Blank and Lauren Gibbons all took straight set wins in singles action, while Lucy Bass claimed an early 1-0 lead at No. 4 singles before her opponent retired due to injury.

The duos of Gordon and Jordyn Spellberg, Kusnierz and Katherine Charchalis and Bass and Blank all posted commanding victories en route to sweeping doubles action.

The Leopards return to the court on Thursday, April 5 at Villanova. Patriot League play resumes on April 13 and 14 with matches against Army and Holy Cross at West Point.
