VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Lafayette women's tennis team was swept by host Villanova on Thursday, 7-0. The loss drops the Leopards to 4-6 in dual matches this season.

Caitlin Gordon, Jordyn Spellberg, Amanda Kusnierz, Lucy Bass, Liza Blank and Lauren Gibbons competed in singles action, while the duos of Gordon and Spellberg, Katherine Charchalis and Austin Denesuk and Bass and Blank took the court as doubles pairs.

The Leopards are back in action on Tuesday, April 10 at Sullivan Courts against Saint Joseph's. Patriot League play resumes next weekend with matches against Army and Holy Cross at West Point.
