EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at St. Joseph's in Philadelphia on Monday afternoon. The Leopards fell to 5-9 on the season.

Sophomore Brandon Goldstein was defeated at first singles, 6-1, 6-3, while senior Scott Gelbman was ousted at second singles, 6-4, 6-3. Freshmen Gavin Studner and Chris Matturri each fell at third and fourth singles. Sophomore Alex Charchalis was beat at fifth singles, while classmate Jake Lazer lost in a tiebreaker, 6-3, 3-6 (10-4).

In doubles Goldstein and Gelbman battled, but were defeated, 8-6, at first doubles. At third doubles Studner and Charchalis lost in a close match, 8-6. Matturri and Lazer fell in their second doubles match, 8-1.

Lafayette hosts Navy Friday afternoon on College Hill.
