BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lafayette women's tennis team competed in the Patriot League Kickoff Tournament in Bethlehem, Pa over the weekend.

Freshman Elena Cerati racked up three wins over the three weekend matches. Her first was with sophomore Lauren Tracy in a doubles bout against Colgate sophomore's Kaelin Brittan and Lindsey Madnick by a score of 8-5. She also won her singles match against Colgate's Kirstie Woodbury when she retired after the second game. The next day against Lehigh's sophomore Jessica Graham, Cerati recorded Lafayette's only singles win against the Hawks by a score of 6-3, 6-2.

In a doubles match against Lehigh, Leopard juniors Caroline Nixon and Catherine Senopoulos defeated freshman Christina Auyeung and sophomore Jamie Campisi by a count of 8-6.

Sophomore Rocine Moschella won a singles match against Colgate junior Katie Grant 6-1 and 6-0. Leopard sophomore Megan Reiling beat freshman Stephanie Fuentes of Colgate (7-5, 6-3). On day three, Senior Jordyn Spellberg was Lafayette's only win against Army, winning her singles match 8-4 over freshman Leslie Frankland.

This match marks the end of the fall leg of the season. The Leopards start up the 2015 campaign on Jan. 31, 2015 against Niagara at 5 p.m. in Bethlehem, Pa.
