EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette College's Maroon Club, in
conjunction with Lafayette's Office of Career Services, sponsored the Career
Development Series for Lafayette Student Athletes: How to Win a Job on Oct. 16
in the Wilson Room of the Pfenning Alumni Center.
Current junior and senior student-athletes were invited to
attend the panel that included several Lafayette alumni. The ongoing initiative
provides student-athletes access to information, resources and contacts, while
enabling them to experience the journeys of former student-athletes.
"We had an outstanding lineup of young and experienced
alumni come back to campus for our Fall Career Development Series to speak to
our juniors and seniors," said Joe Giaimo, Executive Director of the Maroon
Club. "It's great to see our alumni give back to the College by donating their
valuable time and offering incredible perspective.
