WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Lafayette women's tennis team competed in three matches over the weekend, winning one in West Point, N.Y. The Leopards took care of Holy Cross on Friday, 5-2, before falling to Loyola, 7-0, on Saturday and Army, 4-0, on Sunday.

On Friday, the Maroon and White dropped the doubles point, but won five of the six singles matches in a 5-2 victory over the Crusaders. Caroline Nixon led the way with a 6-4, 6-2 win in the top singles slot.

Lafayette was overmatched on Saturday, falling in all nine matches in a 7-0 loss to Loyola. On Sunday, Army needed just four finished matches to seal a 4-0 victory over the Leopards.
