DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Lafayette men's tennis team dropped its second match in as many days on Monday afternoon in Florida, falling to Bethune-Cookman by a 7-0 margin.

Chris Matturri was closest to a point in his match, winning the second set, 6-4, before falling by a 6-2, 4-6, 10-7 score in the second singles spot. Andrew Reed and Gavin Studner also hung tough in their doubles match, dropping a 6-4 decision.

"We played our best in the second match of our trip with good outings from everyone," interim head coach Ralph Van Ormer said. "Each of these matches continues to prepare us well for upcoming Patriot League play."
