DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Lafayette men's tennis team finished off its Florida spring break trip on Tuesday afternoon, dropping a 9-0 decision to Embry-Riddle in its third match in three days.
"Everyone gave 110 percent on the court this afternoon," interim head coach Ralph Van Ormer said. "This was another opportunity for us to play a quality team and prepare us for April."
Mason Keel backed up a tough 6-0 first-set loss with a strong showing in the second, eventually falling by a 7-5 score. The doubles pair of Andrew Reed and Gavin Studner came the closest in their doubles match, surrendering to an 8-3 defeat.
The Leopards are back in action on Friday, opening up a two-game weekend set against Holy Cross at Army in West Point, N.Y. at 2 p.m. Below are the full results from Tuesday's action.
