BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lafayette men's tennis team used the doubles point and three singles wins on Thursday afternoon at Lehigh to take care of Holy Cross in the opening round of the Patriot League Tournament by a 4-2 final.
"This was a great win for our team," interim head coach Ralph Van Ormer said. "Mason Keel played some of his best tennis of the season in the deciding singles match and played great in doubles with Chris Kim."
Brian Stefanowicz, Chris Matturri and Keel took home singles victories, while the pairings of Gavin Studner and Andrew Reed, and Keel and Kim won their doubles matches.
The Leopards will take on top-seeded Navy on Friday morning. Below are the full results from Thursday's match.
