EASTON, Pa. - Delaware State used the doubles point and four singles wins to down the Lafayette women's tennis team at Sullivan Courts on Wednesday afternoon, 5-2.
Caroline Nixon and Catherine Senopoulos were the point-scorers for the Leopards on Wednesday as Nixon defeated her opponent in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3. Senopoulos won by a 6-2, 6-2 score, while Nixon and Rocine Moschella teamed up for the lone doubles win, 6-2.
The loss drops the Maroon and White to 3-9 overall this spring. The Leopards are right back at it on Thursday, hosting Rider at 3 p.m.
