WEST POINT, N.Y. - Four members of the Lafayette women's team picked up both doubles and singles victories as the Leopards shut out Holy Cross 5-0 in a Sunday morning match at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center on the campus of Army West Point.
Cecelia Lesnick,
Samantha Snyder,
Maureen McCormack and
Grace Conrad all picked up wins individually and as part of a tandem against the Crusaders. Additionally,
Alexa Cooke teamed with McCormack and
Meredith Block with Conrad in Lafayette's sweep of the doubles. Block and
Katie Hill were still in singles action when the winning point was secured.
The win evened the women's record at 1-1 in Patriot League play and they improved to 6-4 overall. Next up is an afternoon match against Loyola Maryland at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
