Meredith Block,
Grace Conrad and
Cecelia Lesnick all were double winners as the Lafayette Women's Tennis team snapped a five-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory over LaSalle on the Sullivan Courts.
Block and Conrad won at No. 3 doubles and Lesnick teamed with
Samantha Snyder for a win at No. 1 doubles to give the Leopards the doubles team point. The hosts then captured four of six singles matches as Lafayette won for the fifth time this spring.
Block, Conrad and Lesnick were straight set winners in singles and freshman
Maureen McCormack won an exciting three-set match over Jazmin Walle 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
The leopards have one more match on the regular season schedule on Tuesday against rival Lehigh before heading to Lewisburg, Pa. on April 25 for the Patriot League Championships hosted by Bucknell.
