WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Lafayette Women's Tennis team ended their 2018-19 season with a 4-0 setback to top-seeded Boston University in the quarterfinal round of the Patriot League Championships hosted by Bucknell University at the Central PA Tennis Center.

After defeating Holy Cross 4-0 in the opening round on Thursday afternoon, the Leopards had a quick turnaround early Friday morning against a Boston University squad that is unbeaten in Patriot League matches.

The Terriers captured the doubles team point with wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles and then clinched the match with victories at 1, 3 and 5 singles.

Lafayette concludes the season with a 9-11 record and Boston University advances to face No. 4 Bucknell on Friday at 10 a.m. in the semifinal round.
