*Lafayette College men's tennis is back in action for the first time since February. It opened its season by dropping a tight 4-3 decision against Coppin State before falling to Villanova. Its opponent, Army, has defeated Sacred Heart, Monmouth University and NJIT, and fell to Bryant in its non-conference matches thus far. Holy Cross played its lone match last weekend, falling to conference foe Colgate, 7-0.

*The Leopards have won 21 consecutive matches against Holy Cross dating back to 2000. Their most recent meeting was a 2019 Patriot League tournament match where Lafayette advanced with a 4-1 scoreline. The most recent meeting between Army and Lafayette was a 4-0 result in favor of the Black Knights in March 2019.

*Lafayette sophomores Nash Lovallo and Josh Wolfe provided straight-sets wins in the season opener against Coppin State in singles, and teamed up for a 6-0 set victory in second-flight doubles. Freshman Davis Esslinger kicked off his collegiate career with a straight-sets singles win, as well, in that match.

*Lafayette returns home at 12 p.m. on Sunday for a non-conference match against Fordham.
