EASTON, Pa. -- Lafayette College women's tennis capped its regular season on Saturday afternoon by hosting rivals Lehigh, falling to the Mountain Hawks, 7-0.

The match at Sullivan Courts was senior day, with the team paying tribute Macquarie Simon, Samantha Snyder and Ruthie Wilson prior to the start.

The Leopards put up a fight across the board in their singles matches and doubles sets. Cecelia Lesnick battled to three sets in her singles match, coming back from a 6-1 first-set loss to take the second set, 6-4. 

Lafayette next takes the court at the Patriot League Championships. The tournament gets underway on Thursday, running from April 29 to May 2 in Annapolis, Md. Seedings, which are determined by a coaches' poll, will be announced in the coming days.
