Tennis Squads Bested by Siena Prior to Women’s Comeback at Skidmore

Perdomo/Merkel and Ganchi/Magnusson claim No. 1 doubles victories

| Box Score 3 LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The Lafayette tennis squads traveled to Siena on Friday with opening serve at 11:30 a.m. The women's team competed against Skidmore the following day, with opening serve at 9 a.m.

Siena topped both squads, 7-0 and 6-1, respectively. Women's tennis found its footing in a 6-3 victory against Skidmore.

"It was a good rebound for the women's squad today," said head coach Ralph Van Ormer. "Solid wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles as the women were able to persevere over their opponents with some third-set tiebreakers."
