EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette field hockey was held scoreless by No. 15 UMass, 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Rappolt Field.
The Leopards played a competitive and steady game, holding the opponent scoreless until 45:45. Neva Eisenga, assisted by Hannah De Gast and Claire Danahy, earned the game-winning goal on a penalty corner shot late in the fourth period.
The Minutewomen held the advantage in total shots (9-5) and penalty corners (5-3).

Raffi Fragomeni made three saves as her UMass counterpart, Myrte Van Herwijnen, was left untested.
The Leopards travel to Drexel on Friday for a 6 p.m. start.
