HAMILTON, N.Y. - A pair of assists by sophomore
Stella Malinowski helped Lafayette down Colgate 2-0 on Saturday afternoon, sealing a spot as the No. 2 seed in the Patriot League Tournament.
Mackenzie Hall opened scoring early, tallying her first of the season just 30 seconds into the contest.
Malinowski also helped
Alex Darrah score the remaining Leopard goal with a penalty corner deflection at 39:13.
The Maroon and White dominated the hosts in total shot (20-4) and penalty corner (17-4) advantages.
Lafayette's junior goalkeeper
Raffi Fragomeni made one save in her eighth shutout of the year. Her Raider counterpart, Mackie Mann, collected eight saves.
The Leopards enter postseason play as the No. 2 seed for the second straight season on Thursday with a 12-6 (5-1 PL) record. Lafayette will face No. 3 Bucknell in the semifinal round at 2 p.m with coverage on ESPN+. All tournament games will be hosted by top-seeded American in Washington, D.C.
