EASTON, Pa. - On Friday afternoon, Lafayette Athletics released the men's and women's tennis schedules for the 2026-27 season.
Men's tennis is set to start on Wednesday, Sept. 16, hosting Kutztown, while the women's squad will begin with the Lehigh Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 12-13.
The Leopards will face Haverford, Franklin & Marshall, Monmouth, Hofstra, East Stroudsburg and Wagner in fall non-conference play. Lafayette secured spots to play in the Lehigh, Bloomsburg, St. Joe's and Penn Invitationals as well.
The new year brings a handful of other non-conference competitors before the initial Patriot League matches: NJIT, George Washington, Stoney Brook, St. Joe's, FDU, Le Moyne, Morgan State, Villanova, Mercyhurst, Moravian, Fordham and St. Francis. Boths teams will travel to West Point, N.Y. to open the conference schedule against Army, Holy Cross and Loyola Md. from March 13-14. Â
Lafayette hosts Lehigh for the men's and women's Rivalry this season, taking place on April 13 and 25, respectively.
The 2027 Patriot League Men's Tennis Championship will be held at Fluegel-Moore Tennis Stadium at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., beginning Thursday, April 22 and concluding on Sunday, April 25. In case of inclement weather, the championship will be moved indoors to the Tose Family Tennis Center.
The 2027 Patriot League Women's Tennis Championship will be held at Ulrich Varsity Tennis Courts at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., beginning Thursday, April 29 and concluding on Sunday, May 2. In case of inclement weather, the championship will be moved indoors to the Lewis Tennis Center.
All times and dates are subject to change. In case of inclement weather, facilities may also be moved during the academic year.
