EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette field hockey earned two Patriot League Player of the Week awards on Monday afternoon. Laila Pasic secured the forward role, while Katie Gibb took home the laurel for midfield.

Pasic scored two goals to help the Leopards go 3-0 last week with wins over Cornell (2-1), Rider (3-0) and Drexel (4-1). She scored the first goal in Lafayette's win over the Big Red, before adding a deflection tally in the victory over the Dragons.

Gibb recorded three assists during the busy slate to help the Maroon and White remain undefeated at home (3-0). She assisted the game-winning goal over Cornell and dished two more to help best Rider. The Leopards have limited all of their opponents to a combined two goals since Sept. 7.

Addison Kahn and Lena Thedrian were selected as an honorable mention for her efforts.

The Patriot League field hockey players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

The Leopards open conference play at Colgate on Friday at noon.
