EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette's Lena Thedrian was voted as the Patriot League Defender of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Thedrian scored three goals for her third career hat trick to lead the Leopards to a 4-3 win over Temple on Friday. She netted the game-winning goal on a shot from the top of the circle, assisted by Olivia Krey in the final quarter. The senior defender played the full 60 minutes, helping limit the Owls to eight shots, including four on goal.

Katie Gibb was selected as an honorable mention for her efforts.

The Patriot League field hockey players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

The Leopards host Cornell on Monday at 6 p.m. at Rappolt Field.
