2022: Finished in a time of 1:56.60 in the 800 meter at the Villanova Invitational…finished in a time of 2:31.67 in the 1000 meter at the Rutgers Open.
2020-21: Lafayette Open 800 meters 2:00.09...Lehigh Happy Easter 1500 Meters 4:16.84.
2019-20: Placed fifth in the 800M at the Bison Open...helped the 4x800 relay place seventh at the Patriot League Indoor Championships...finished 10th in the 800 at the Bucknell Tune Up...outdoor season was cut short due to COVID-19.
2018-19: Placed third in the 800M at the Monmouth Winter Collegiate Invitational...took sixth in the 1000M at the DeSchriver Invitational...helped distance medley relay place ninth at the Patriot League Indoor Championships...assisted the 4x400 relay to a 10th-place finish at the outdoor Leopard Invitational...finished 21st in the outdoor 800M at the Carol and John Covert Classic.

At Pleasant Valley: Helped team win Eastern Pennsylvania Conference championship in 2016...earned four varsity letters...served as team captain as a senior...named a four-time Distinguished Honor Roll member…member of National Honor Society and Math Honor Society…graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors…member of Future Business Leaders of America.

Personal: Son of David and Cheryl Murphy...has younger brother Kyle.

What are your favorite things about Lafayette?
One of my favorite things about Lafayette is the great Computer Science department. Since it’s small, it’s a very tightly knit community of students and professors.
 
What is your favorite event in track and field? Why?
My favorite event in track and field is the 800-meter race because I never really had the chance to run it in high school, so its a new and exciting experience.
 
What has been your favorite moment while competing for Lafayette?
My favorite moment while competing for Lafayette has been racing on the 4x800m relay at the indoor Patriot League Championships, as I thought it was one of the best races I’ve had since coming to college.
