Kamine Gym is the largest, most versatile area in the 110,000 square foot Kirby Sports Center. It is used an alternate practice facility for men's and women's basketball and volleyball and as an off-season workout area for many of Lafayette's 23 sports. The fencing team uses Kamine Gym as a practice facility and home venue for select meets. The space, which is encircled above by a one-tenth mile elevated jogging track, can be divided into three courts, two of which are traditional hardwood. The third court is a specialized area with a synthetic tile surface enclosed by dasher boards.
For larger meets, both Kamine Gym and the Kirby Sports Center arena (below) are utilized for competition.Â
