As an athlete active in both football and
baseball, Al Caesar '58 earned the Class of 1913
trophy as the school's outstanding student-athlete.
In 1957, Caesar led the nation in home runs,
helping the Leopard squad to the College World
Series. A versatile athlete, as well as student,
Caesar was a starting halfback on the football
team as well as being a member of the Maroon
Key Society, the Knights of the Roundtable and
the Student-Athletic Council.
