Pamela MacColl played both field hockey
and women's lacrosse while attending
Lafayette College. MacColl scored a career total
of 216 goals during her days on College Hill.
As a freshman in 1977, she led her teammates to an
undefeated season (8-0) in only the second year
of women's lacrosse at Lafayette, scoring 26
goals. MacColl scored a school record 76 goals
her senior season and led the team to the 1980
U.S. Women's Lacrosse Association Division II
National Championship. In 1977 and 1978 she
was selected to play in the 46th annual U.S.
Women's Lacrosse Association National
Tournament and she appeared in Sports
Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd" on June 23,
1980. In field hockey, MacColl scored five goals
in 1978 and added four more in 1979, her senior
year, for a total of nine goals in her career.
