Mark Neumann used his knack for
putting the ball in the net to leave his
mark on Lafayette soccer history over
his four-year career. The school's all-
time scoring leader (49 goals, 23 assists),
Neumann led the Leopards in scoring and
earned a spot on the All-East Coast
Conference first team in each of his four
years.
Neumann scored in his first two
collegiate games on the way to a 10 goal,
three assist freshman campaign. As a
sophomore, Neumann continued his high-
scoring ways with a career-high 14 goals
and six assists. During the 1982 campaign,
Neumann became the school's all-time
leading scorer, finishing with 121 points.
His 14 goals and 34 points in 1982 still
ranks amongst the highest single-season
totals in school history.
