Position: Facilities and Operations Intern
Hours: Will vary depending on season. Must be willing to work some nights and weekends.
Start/End Date: Interns are accepted throughout the year with start and end dates to be agreed upon by intern and supervisor
Pay: Not applicable (may qualify for academic credit)

Objective: To allow students to gain professional experience in athletic
administration at the Division-I Intercollegiate level.
Job Description: This is a position assists with game day and event operations for
Lafayette College any and all home contests. Duties as assigned by the
Associate Athletics Director. Event operations tasks for the athletic events at Fisher Stadium and
Metzger Fields Athletic Complex. Experiences in which this position will
be exposed to are: athletic events, facility operations, contracts (of many
capacities), security, team camps, rentals, visiting teams, officials, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- An interest in learning about how the operations of a Division I institution
- Strong sports knowledge
- Candidate should have a high level of energy and be team oriented
- An ability to work some nights and weekends
- An ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
