Lafayette College Athletics

2024: Placed 53rd at the Lafayette Preview (20:09.7)… Managed 26th at the Laf-Lehigh Dual Meet (28:25.9)… Finished 237th at the ECAC/IC4A Championships (28:14.8)… Placed 110th at the Patriot League Championships (28:08.4).

Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette because of the outstanding academics that they offer, the track program is amazing, and it feels like home. Lafayette is also a small school and it is only an hour away from my house. I had an amazing interaction with everyone I met on campus so far and I loved Lafayette the most throughout my college decision process.

What is your favorite event in track? Why?
I like all the events that I’ve done for all different reasons. If I had to pick, I like the mile the most because it seems like the sweet spot of events. The 800 is almost a sprint and the 2 mile is much longer, so the mile just seems right.

High School: 18th in Cross Country District One Championships… Placed 34th in Pennsylvania AAA Cross Country States… Won team MVP for Cross Country and rookie of the year…  Named Captain of Winter Track and Spring track… Placed 17th in the 4xmile at Nike Indoor Nationals… Placed 27th in the mile at AAA District One Championships… Earned a Varsity letter every season of participation (2 winter, 2 spring, 1 cross country)… Part of the Advisory board… Link Crew Leader at Hatboro Horsham High School… Member of Key Club… Hatboro Horsham Student of the Month.

Personal: Son of Wayne and Jo Scattergood... Has an older brother, Aiden… Born July 10th 2006.
