th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic 6K in a time of 23:27.7.
2019: Placed 11th at the Lafayette/Lehigh Dual Meet...took 14th at the Towson Invitational...finished 19th at the Leopard Invitational...ended 31st at the Patriot League Championships.
At Kennedy Catholic: Won the 2018 PIAA District 10 Class A Championships...placed 16th at the 2018 PIAA Class A Cross Country State Championships...named First Team District 10 Class AA in cross country in 2017...selected to First Team District 10 Class A in cross country in 2018...earned spot on District 10 All-Star Team for cross country in 2018...named Region Runner of the Year in cross country in 2018. Earned eight varsity letters between cross country and outdoor track.
Personal: Daughter to Amy and Chad Javens...has two older sisters...born in May 2001.
What has been your favorite moment while competing for Lafayette?
My favorite moment while competing for Lafayette is the 2019 Patriot League Cross Country Championships. The team gave its best effort on the extremely difficult course, despite all of the mud and hills. I will always remember crossing the finish line and joining my teammates to share post-race hugs. This race really exemplified the strength, resilience, and improvement of the team!
What are your favorite things about Lafayette?
To me, Lafayette feels like home, and for that reason I love so many things about it. The cross country/track and field teams are like family, and I am so lucky to have shared so many great experiences with them all. Also, the professors are understanding and welcoming, and this quality has made my academic experience at Lafayette so special. No matter what, the professors are always willing to help and answer any question that I may have.
