Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette because it was the most welcoming and I felt there was a genuine desire to have me on the team as a unique individual, not just because I fit a general metric. On my official visit, Lafayette was the only school where the professor of the class I attended introduced herself to me and the only school where the whole team gathered to watch Impractical Jokers at my host’s dorm.

What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite track event is the mile because it boils down to pure strategy. It’s just long enough that you have time to be intentional, but quick enough that you get to run fast.

High School: Began track sophomore year (2022) and cross country junior year (2023)... Outside of high school competition, ran three half marathons in 2019, 2022, and 2023... Placed second in females 19 and under at 2023 Rehoboth Beach Half Marathon (1:40:03)... Placed ninth at cross country Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship in 2023... Qualified for 2023 PIAA Cross Country State Championship and placed sixth as a team... Placed fifth in 1600 in PAC Championship in 2024... Qualified and competed 1600, 800, and 4x800 at PIAA District 1 Championships... Placed fifth in Cross Country PAC Championship in 2024... Qualified individually for 2024 PIAA Cross Country State Championship and placed in top 100... Set indoor school records in mile (5:08.16) and 4x800 (9:51.08)... Placed third in 3k at PTFCA Indoor Track Festival (10:31.86)... Qualified for PTFCA Indoor State Championships in 4x800 and mile... Valedictorian... Vice President of National Honors Society... Secretary of French Honors Society... Co-President of Environmental Club... Officer of Model United Nations Club.
