Jill DiSanti enters her first year as volunteer assistant coach at Lafayette after helping lead the Wagner program in its transition to Division I during the 2018-19 year.
Prior to her time at Wagner, DiSanti served as an assistant coach at Monmouth for 10 seasons with the final two as associate head coach. She helped lead the program to four straight MAAC regular season championships from 2014-17 and two MAAC titles with NCAA Tournament appearances in 2014 and 2016. During her two seasons as associate head coach, DiSanti's squads went a combined 32-7 and throughout her time in West Long Branch, she assisted in the development of five consecutive MAAC Defensive Players of the Year, four MAAC Players of the Year and three MAAC Offensive Players of the Year.
Following her graduation from Quinnipiac in 2014, DiSanti served as an assistant coach at her alma mater before departing for Monmouth in 2007. She also has experience as the head coach with the USA Field Hockey Futures Program from 2008-11 and has been the co-founder and owner of Surf & Sand Field Hockey Club since 2009. DiSanti earned her bachelor's in sociology from Quinnipiac and added a master's in corporate and public communications from Monmouth.Â
As a student-athlete at Quinnipiac, she was the team's most valuable player and captain in 2004. She earned NEC All-Conference honors three times from 2002-04 and was a NFHCA Mid-East Region All-American in 2003 and 2004.Â
