Tupper begins his first season with the Lafayette field hockey program in 2020 as an assistant coach.
Tupper comes to College Hill bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience as a member of Canada’s Senior National Team since 2005, playing in 312 games in his career. He has appeared in two Olympic Games (2008 and 2016), two World Cup tournaments (2010 and 2018), four Pan American Games (2007, 2011, 2015, and 2019), three Pan American Cups (2009, 2013, and 2017) and three Commonwealth Games (2010, 2014, and 2018). Since 2012, he has served as Canada’s team captain.Â

Individually, Tupper led Canada in goals in the 2016 Olympics with five and earned six consecutive Pan American All-Star selections. He also played five seasons with European clubs Der Club and der Alster of Germany (two seasons), Royal Racing Brussels of Belgium (two seasons), and Schaerweijde of Holland (one season).

Prior to joining the Maroon and White, Tupper served as the Head of Programming and Recruiting and on-field coach for the Rob Short Coaching Academy of Vancouver, Canada for five years. He was also the domestic trainer and coach for Canada’s U21 Men’s National Team for three years.
