Biography

2025: Competed in all 19 games while starting in nine… scored four goals and made one assist for nine total points… took 20 shots (15 on goal)… claimed the PL Rookie of the Week title on Sept. 22… selected to the NFHCA DI National Academic Squad.

AT VILLA MARIA: Played four years of varsity field hockey as a two-year starter… crowned the 2023 PIAA state champions, the 2022-23 District 2 champions, a 2024 District 1 champions and the 2024 PIAAA state runner-up… named to the Second Team All-State team and an All-Main Line honorable mention in 2023… a First Team All-State, Second Team AACA, Second Team All-Main Line and All-Area Second Team selection in 2024… earned First Honors all four years… given the Blue and White School Athlete award… has club experience with Main Line Field Hockey.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Mary Beth and Timothy Kurek… has two brothers, Matthew and Justin… mother, Mary Beth, played field hockey at Gettysburg… father, Timothy, played golf for Penn State… led a catholic retreat at Villa Maria called “Kairos.”
