Lafayette College Athletics

Barbara Huey is a volunteer assistant coach of the Lafayette swimming and diving program.

Prior to College Hill, Huey worked full time as the Practice Manager of a primary care medical office in Flemington, N.J. Huey held coaching positions, including the Competitive Aquatics Director during her years at the Hunterdon County YMCA in Flemington, N,J. (1999-2010). She also coached at Summit YMCA, in Summit N.J., where she spent her own early swimming years and competed at YMCA Nationals.

Huey coached at the collegiate level at Union College in 1995 and at the University of Miami from 1993-1995. She served as Graduate Assistant Coach at North Carolina State University from 1991-1993 where she earned her Masters degree in Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management with an emphasis in Sport Management/Sport Psychology. Huey received her BS in Individual & Family Studies with an emphasis in Business at The Pennsylvania State University, where she also competed as a student athlete.

Huey has two adult sons, Erik and Sam.
