Outdoor - Fourth in 1500 meters (4:25.55) vs. Lehigh… Fifth in 800 meters (1:54.13) and fourth in 1500 meters (3:59.60) at Bucknell Team Challenge… 17th in 1500 meters (3:59.31) at Patriot League Championships… Ninth in 1500 meters (3:56.71) at Army Twilight… 12th in 800 meters (1:54.09) and contributed to No. 4 all-time and fourth-place finish in 4x800-meter relay (7:36.87) at ECAC/IC4A Championships.

2023-24: Indoor - Third in 3000 meters (8:34.31) at Spartan Invite… Second in 1000 meters (2:31.87) at dual meet vs. Lehigh… Eighth in mile (4:14.87), all-time performance, at Rutgers Invite… 12th in 3000 meters (8:23.58), all-time performance, at Fast Track Invite… 13th in mile (4:13.37), all-time performance, at Patriot League Championships… No. 6 all-time in mile (4:13.37)… No. 5 all-time in 3000 meters (8:23.58)… Helped break the school record, No. 1 all-time, in distance medley relay (9:54.72)… Contributed to No. 10 all-time performance in 4x800-meter relay (7:43.09).

Outdoor - Third in 1500 meters (4:06.56) at dual meet vs. Lehigh… Fourth in 1500 meters (3:56.72) and ninth in 800 meters (1:57.16) at Bucknell Team Challenge… Ninth in 1500 meters (3:53.48) at ECAC/IC4A Championships… Contributed to No. 4 all-time performance in 4x800-meter relay (7:37.17).

2022-23: Ran the 1000 meter in a time of 2:32.66 at the Spartan Invite… Ran a time of 4:20.90 in the mile at the Rutgers Open.

What are you involved in outside of track and field?
Works as a Peer Mentor and Writing associate to help integrate the new freshman into college athletics and college-level writing.

What advice would you give someone looking to apply to Lafayette?
Know that college is a new and exciting experience, but this college is what you make of it. The community is supportive of everyone and you should involve yourself in as much as you can, meet new people, and take advantage of the resources made available to us on campus.

What is your favorite event in track? Why?
The 1500 because it is just short of a mile so there is always enough left in the tank for a final kick.

High School: Made all Interac-League teams in cross country and track & field 9-12th grade... 2nd place for best opinion pieces in the Pennsylvania Press Club 2021 High School Journalism Contest... Made Pennsylvania Independent League teams in cross country and track & field 9-12th grade... Cross country points award 2019 and 2020... Broke school 4x800 record two consecutive years... Form VI History prize... Competed in Pennsylvania Indoor states.

Personal: Son of Alfred and Patricia Sanford... Has an older sister, Savannah.
