Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette because of the perfect mix of academics and athletics that it offered me. I loved the high standard of excellence on the academic side, and I felt like I could trust that any major I chose would be a part of a high quality program. The sense of community that was obvious on campus was also huge for me, and everyone I met was so supportive and welcoming. The opportunity to run and grow as an athlete at Lafayette just completed how perfect I felt it all was for me.

What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite event in track is the indoor 3k. I like that there’s plenty of laps to get into a rhythm and to work into different phases of the race. Also, since it’s a shorter track, I like that every lap is quick and it feels like a shorter event because of that.

What are you involved in outside of track and field?
Besides track and field, I am also an orientation leader for first years at Lafayette.

High School: Earned four varsity letters in both cross country and track... Earned three varsity letters in basketball... Served as a varsity captain of the cross country team, basketball team, and track team senior year... Placed 9th in the 2023 District XI 2A Cross Country Championships... Placed second in the 3200m and 1600m relay in the 2023 District XI 2A Championships... Placed 8th in the 2024 District XI 2A Cross Country Championships...
