What are your plans after Lafayette?
I will probably either be going to graduate school or at a job that involves both economics and policy application.
What are you involved in outside of track and field?
I am a peer mentor to freshman athletes, a big sister to freshmen in the NIA Sisterhood and Association of Black Collegian.
What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite event has to be the 60-meter hurdles and that really changed for me coming to college because is the one event where I have seen the most growth in myself and is a very telling event for what is to come outdoor.
High School: Won outdoor Virginia High School League (VHSL) Concord Conference 5 triple jump championship... Named 6A Region D outdoor triple jump champion... Named all-state in the triple jump and the high jump... Won Indoor VHSL Concord Conference 5 triple jump championship... Won VHSL 6A Region D indoor triple jump championship... Finished runner-up in the high jump and the triple jump at the VHSL 6A meet... Member of three school record-setting relays - 4x100M, 4x400M, and sprint medley relay... Won 2017 Outdoor VHSL Concord Conference 5 triple jump championship.
Named all-state in the triple jump VHSL 6A with a school-record mark of 39-0... Won indoor VHSL Concord Conference 5 triple jump title... Named team MVP in indoor and outdoor track & field... Won 2016 outdoor VHSL Concord Conference 5 high jump title... Won indoor VHSL Concord Conference 5 triple jump champion...
