Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette because I was drawn to the campus and wanted to experience the East Coast at an institution that could challenge me academically.

What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite event to run is the 800m because it requires a combination of speed and endurance that allows any competitor to succeed.

At Denver Christian: Helped 4x800m relay team win the Mile High/Northern/Tri-Valley League Championship in 2018 and 2019… Qualified for the 2018 CHSAA 2A State Championships in the 1600 and 4x800m… Qualified for the 2019 CHSAA 2A State Championships in the 1600m, 800m, and 4x800m… Placed 5th at the 2019 CHSAA 2A State Championships in the 800m… Named a junior and senior captain for the 2019 and 2020 seasons… Earned 6 varsity letters, 4 in track and 2 in soccer… Soccer senior captain for the 2019 season.

Personal: Son of Jeffery Romine and Tamara Boynton… Has a younger sister, Morgan Romine… Has one golden retriever, Beckett, and one golden retriever mix, Hobbes… Born on May 21, 2002.
