Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette because it simultaneously offers a strong academic focus and a tight-knit running community.
What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite event in track is the 3200m because it requires a lot of patience and mental toughness. In order to succeed, 3200m runners need to conserve their energy wisely and make a move at the right time.
High School: Qualified for the PIAA XC State Championships in 2021… Placed 9th at the PIAA District 1 T&F Championships in 2021… All-Conference runner in XC (2020-2021) and track (2021-2022)... Served as team captain of both the cross country and track teams junior and senior year… Member of National Honor Society… National Merit Finalist… Co-valedictorian.
Personal: Son of Kevin and Wendy Kratz... Has a twin brother, Cole.
