2020-21: Lafayette Open 1500 meters 5:04.94...PL Champs 5000 meter 17:25.77.
2019-20: Placed fourth in the 3000M at the Lafayette-Lehigh indoor dual meet...took 10th in the mile at the Monmouth Winter Collegiate Invitational...finished 13th in the mile at the NYC Gotham Cup...outdoor season was cut short due to COVID-19.
At Kennedy Catholic: Placed second in the 3200M at the PIAA District 10 Class AA Championships in 2017 and 2019...earned four varsity letters in outdoor track.
Personal: Daughter to Amy and Chad Javens...has two older sisters...born in May 2001.
What has been your favorite moment while competing for Lafayette?
My favorite moment while competing for Lafayette is the 2019 Patriot League Cross Country Championships. The team gave its best effort on the extremely difficult course, despite all of the mud and hills. I will always remember crossing the finish line and joining my teammates to share post-race hugs. This race really exemplified the strength, resilience, and improvement of the team!
What are your favorite things about Lafayette?
To me, Lafayette feels like home, and for that reason I love so many things about it. The cross country/track and field teams are like family, and I am so lucky to have shared so many great experiences with them all. Also, the professors are understanding and welcoming, and this quality has made my academic experience at Lafayette so special. No matter what, the professors are always willing to help and answer any question that I may have.
