What are you involved in outside of track and field?
Outside of track and field, I edit stories for The Lafayette and am a member of the German Club.
What are your favorite things about Lafayette?
My favorite things about Lafayette are the small close-knit community on campus, my teammates, and the high-level academics. All of these combine to make a great college experience.
What is your favorite event in track? Why?
I think my favorite event in track is the mile. Even though it’s only really run indoors, it is such a classic event, is a great test of fitness, and people with very different strengths can all do well in the mile.
High School: Helped cross country team to podium 3rd place finish at GA State 5A Championships 2019… Finished top 10 in cross country in Region 6AAAAA 2017… Finished top 10 in Atlanta Public Schools (APS) City Cross Country Championships 2019... Helped team win APS XC Championships 2017, 2018, 2019… Helped team win Region 6AAAAA 2017 in XC… Helped team get 2nd Region 6AAAAA XC 2019… Scored points in the 800 meters finishing 4th and 3rd respectively to help team win Region 6AAAAA Track and Field Championships 2018, 2019… Track and Field GA State 5A individual qualifier 800 meters 2019… Named Cross Country Co-Captain 2018, 2019… Member of National Honors Society… Managing Editor for Grady’s high school newspaper, the Southerner… Earned three varsity letters in both cross country and track.
