What advice would you give someone looking to apply to Lafayette?
For someone looking to apply to Lafayette, I would highly recommend an overnight visit, or at least to come experience campus to some degree. I visited many schools, but the day I visited Lafayette I knew this would be the only school I was applying to. I love the small feel of campus and how convenient it is to get around. The track is off campus, but many upperclassmen have cars, and the car rides to and from practice are one of the best parts of the day. The education at Lafayette may be comparable to other academically high level colleges or universities, but the small school community is what makes Lafayette a great place to attend.

What are your favorite things about Lafayette?
One of my favorite things about Lafayette is the campus size and community. Nothing is more than a 10-minute walk away, so you never feel far from friends or events. There are only a few dining halls and one library, so you are very likely to see people you know wherever you are walking, which always brightens my day. Also, the professors at Lafayette are truly amazing. Every semester, calling my parents, I tell them “I met all my professors for the semester, and they all are so nice and great people who seem to care about the students, and are personable."

What has been your favorite moment while competing for Lafayette?
Undoubtedly, my favorite moment competing for Lafayette was the Lafayette-Lehigh outdoor dual meet in 2019. I was a freshman running the 400, and while I knew I wasn’t going to win, I knew I would be in the running for the top finishes. I watched my teammate, who was a senior at the time, win, while I came in a second after him in a close third. We celebrated that, ran the 200 together, where he took first and I took second, and later, came back again to win the 4x400. The day was filled with PRs, team spirit, and great performances. On top of that, the icing on the cake was that it was my birthday.
