Outdoor - 21st in 1500 meters (5:54.30) at Bill Butler Invitational.
Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette due to the strong athletic programs, alongside high academic caliber. The campus and the people I met at Lafayette were amazing.
What is your favorite event in track? Why?
The 1500 because it has more of a speed element than some longer events, but still requires tactics and pacing.
High School: Earned four varsity letters in cross country and track and field... Four-year qualifier for IGHSAU 4A state track meet in 4x800m relay, three times in 3000m run, once in 1500m... Named all-conference in Mississippi Athletic Conference four years in track and field and three in cross country... School record holder in cross country for 5k distance... Member of school top-3 record times in 4x800 relay... Member of National Honors Society... Four year varsity and state qualifier for swimming.
Personal: Daughter of Mike and Ashley Ford... Has twin sister, Morgan... Born on July 1, 2006.
