What are you involved in outside of track and field?
CAPA Scholar in Vocal Performance and Acting, Hispanic Society of Lafayette, Geology Society of Lafayette, Lafayette Environmental Awareness and Protection Club, Running Club, and Bird Club.

What advice would you give someone looking to apply to Lafayette?
I adore the atmosphere that surrounds the academics at Lafayette and how much encouragement it creates. It is clear that the Lafayette community wants all students to be creative and succeed in academics even if they are involved in a lot of on-campus activities.

What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite events in track are the 3k and 5000m. I have always loved racing longer distances and the feeling of finding your pace. I look forward to trying longer distances on the track.

High School: Second Team All-League 2021... Four-time varsity letter winner and varsity captain for cross country (2020) and track (2021)... Two-time leagues and district qualifier for cross country... Leagues 2-mile qualifier and district qualifier 4x800m for track and field (2021).

Personal: Daughter of Nestor and Brandi Gil... Born on July 31, 2003.
