Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette because it was my dream school. I instantly fell in love with the campus during my first visit in fall of my senior year, and was so excited by the idea of joining such a passionate and diverse student community. Most of all, everyone I met during my visits were so warm and welcoming. That plus the school’s prestige (and generous merit award) is what made me choose Lafayette, and I’m so glad.

What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite event in track is the 4x100m relay because in my experience, it’s been the least stressful and most fun event. Lining up to run any event in track can be so nerve-wracking sometimes, but I hardly ever get nervous before the 4x100. I was almost always the leadoff leg in high school, so my job was simply to put my team in the best position possible for the win. My teammates were immensely talented, so it was also a treat just getting to watch and cheer for them as soon as I finished my leg of the race. And I will say that my 4x100m relay team constantly broke records and won championships, which made the event that much sweeter.
