Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette because of the close knit community and small class sizes that allow for a more comfortable learning environment.
What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite event in track is the pole vault because it combines speed, strength, and technique that, in my opinion, makes it the most exciting event to learn and watch.
High School: Broke 50-year-old record to set the all-time Winston Churchill High School record in pole vault... Ranked top 12 all-time in both long jump and high jump… Four-time varsity letter winner and four-time Field MVP winner… Earned Washington Post All-Met honorable mention for Indoor and Outdoor seasons (2023-2024)… Top 8 in high jump and long jump at 2024 Montgomery County Championships and 4A West Regional Championships… Indoor and Outdoor 2023-2024 Montgomery County Maryland pole vault champion, 2024 Maryland 4A West Regional Champion, and three-time Maryland State 4A runner-up (2023-2024)... Recorded highest pole vault jump in Montgomery County Maryland high school history… Placed third in pole vault at 2024 Nike Indoor Nationals (Emerging Elite)... Placed 11th at 2024 Adidas Outdoor Nationals (Championship).
