Why did you choose Lafayette?
I chose Lafayette for its academic reputation and small class sizes. I feel that I can forge personal connections with my professors and peers and thrive in this collaborative environment. I can be a Division 1 athlete while pursuing my academic ambitions and taking advantage of the reputable engineering and rigorous STEM classes.

What is your favorite event in track? Why?
My favorite event in track is discus. I have found that much like shot put, strength is crucial, but discus puts much more emphasis on control and technique. By slowing down and focusing on the elements of the spin and the release, I have learned how to harness my strength and I have grown as an athlete.
